Residency Program Solutions (RPS) 

Part of the AAFP PDW and RPS Residency Education Symposium

The RPS portion of the AAFP PDW and RPS Residency Education Symposium is our annual meeting. It’s a great conference with relevant topics for day to day operations. 

AAFP offers CME credit for the symposium and AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Academy of Physician Assistants, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, American Nurses Credentialing Center, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program, and the American Association of Medical Assistants.

RPS begins at 1:30pm Saturday, March 24, 2018
RPS ends at 11:00am Tuesday, March 27, 2018

2018 FMRNA Annual Residency Nursing Workshop

Held before RPS - March 23 and 24, 2018


During this program, connect with colleagues through sessions designed exclusively for family medicine residency nurses and other medical professionals. It is a great time to network with residency nurses and other healthcare providers working in like settings, experiencing the same challenges.

This activity has been submitted to the Midwest Multistate Division for approval to award nursing contact hours. The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

The purpose of the activity is to:
  • Provide pertinent, continuing education for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, nursing managers and medical assistants of family medicine residency programs.
  • Provide an opportunity for attendees to brainstorm and problem solve common residency-specific issues.
  • Identify strategies for the enhancement of the educational experience of family medicine residents.
  • Encourage and support networking opportunities for nursing staff team members.  


FMRNA Annual Business Meeting

Held during RPS

While at RPS, attend the FMRNA annual business meeting and discuss activities, plan future projects, and elect board positions.
